The Israel National Football Association will have the chance to host its national soccer match in Jerusalem’s Ramat Gan stadium on Wednesday night, which has been hosting international matches for the past six years.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Jerusalem Football Association announced the match will take place on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The match will be televised live by Israel Sports TV and will feature three teams in Israel, the second-highest league in the country and the top-ranked club in the world.
The three teams competing in the tournament are Ein Yisrael, the top club in Israel’s top flight, Ein Lohav, the third-ranked team in Israel and B’nai Brith, a top Israeli team.
The teams have been competing in a league in Israel since 2007.
In 2017, the league hosted its first international match, with Israeli giants Israel U19’s defeating Japan U18’s in the quarterfinals.
The club that won the tournament in 2017 also finished in the top half of the table last year.
The Israeli soccer team was created in 2006 by Israeli businessman Avraham Yisroel.
Israel currently ranks as the second highest league in Europe and is the third highest in the Arab world behind Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Israel’s national team has won six World Cup titles and four European Cups.
It is ranked among the top soccer nations in the entire world.
